Event Info - 2022 adidas Lone Star Classic #2 (Dallas)

The Lone Star Classic National Qualifier will take place over 3 days. To be accepted teams must satisfy the following criteria: 

11 Club is a 2 day event, this division will play on Saturday and Sunday only. 

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

1. Register on AES - Registration opens October 1st, 12:00am CST. 
2. Submit entry fee payment
3. Fulfill the Stay to Play Policy

All division minimums are 12 teams. 

Late fees start at 12:01AM on the AES late registration date - 3/1/2022. Teams who register and/or pay after the registration deadline will incur an additional $100 fee.

STAY TO PLAY

This event is a stay to play tournament. Any team traveling further than 60 miles must secure a minimum number of 5 rooms through EM2 Housing. Rooms booked directly through hotels will not apply.

Reservations open on November 1, 2021 @ 8am CST. If you do not see enough rooms available for your team, or your preferred hotel is sold out, please contact EM2 Housing for assistance immediately. If you book rooms on your own with a hotel directly, or through an alternate housing website, your team will not qualify to participate in this stay to play tournament.

REFUND POLICY

After a team is accepted in to this event they will be charged a $50 division change fee if they wish to switch to a different division (before or after the deadline). The fee may be waived if this move benefits the tournament, this decision will be made at the discretion of the tournament director. 

All teams must check-in online prior to their first match. There will be no on-site check-in and no paper copies will be accepted at the event.

Roster changes cannot be made after confirming online check in. If a roster change is needed, email eventstaff@austinsportscenter.com to request a check in reset, and then complete the online check in process again.

To participate in any USAV bid tournament, rosters must include: 

1. COACH – at least 1 coach; all coaches must have a cleared background screen, signed USAV Junior Club Personnel Code of Ethics, SafeSport certified, IMPACT certified
2. SCORER – can be “in-progress” by clinic attendance or pre-registration Scorer Chair
3. REFEREE – can be “in-progress” by clinic attendance or pre-registration with Referee Chair
4. MINIMUM of SIX (6) Registered ATHLETES
5. SAFE SPORT (if applicable)- athletes turning 18 during the season, whose teammates are minors, will be required to take "Core" Center for SafeSport training upon turning 18

Individual participation eligibility requirements (membership, background screening, IMPACT, minimum age, SafeSport trained etc.) are subject to verification by USAV, including use of random ID checks by the Event Arbitrator and/or the Event Staff.

By registering for a bid division at this event, you are agreeing to accept a bid if earned during the LSC tournament. If you do not plan to accept a bid if earned, email eventstaff@austinsportscenter.com prior to the event start date to decline a possible bid.
