2022 Jewel of the Mountains AAU Grand Prix Sat-Sun, February 12-13, 2022 Web Site: Greatsmokyvolleyballseries.com At the Meadowview Conference Resort and Convention Center -All teams are guaranteed at least 5 matches over the course of the two day event. Open to all AAU participants Ages: 12-18 Winner of any of these tournaments receives FREE entry into AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL (minimum # of 12 teams per division for full paid entry fee / less than 12 teams will be pro-rated)

Age Divisions: 18's, 17's, 16's, 15's, 14's, 13's,12's Open to all AAU participants Ages: 12-18 Winner of any of these tournaments receives FREE entry into AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL (minimum # of 12 teams per division for full paid entry fee / less than 12 teams will be pro-rated) **Divisions can and maybe combined in all age groups at our Discretion. Officials: Paid 1st officials provided for all matches,  2nd officials for some Gold Division Finals. Wave Start Times: Posted by Wednesday 8pm week of event, and will be updated if any team add or drop so check the website regularly that week for any changes or weather delays. Admission: This year’s event will have a small admission fee for spectators of $15 for a one day pass and  $20 for a two day tournament pass. May be changed for Covid restrictions All wristbands must be worn on wrist for admission into playing site. There will be no replace bands for lost or removed bands. Spectator wristbands will go on sale starting Saturday at 7:15am at the playing venue. This event will not be canceled due to weather, it is up to the teams if they feel it unsafe to travel. There will be no refunds for weather or withdrawal after team is accepted.

COVID RELATED REFUND POLICY:

•          Should this event be cancelled or postponed due to COVID related issues all teams will be eligible for a full refund

We will follow all state, Local, and convention center Covid-19 Polices and Guidelines.

 

Team Check-in: There will NOT be a coaches meeting. However COACHES OR CLUB DIRECTORS MUST check in their teams (consists of signing the roster and picking up coaching credential pass(s)) at the playing venue. Check-in Times: Friday, February 12 from 6-8pm at the Championship Desk Saturday, February 13  from 7:15am-3pm next to the table where admission is sold. Facility Rules: Due to incidents in previous years at other events there will be a NO TOLERANCE policy this year for misbehavior by players/teams and spectators in the venue. -Ball Handling is NOT allowed outside of the exhibit halls in the facility -Coolers and outside food and drink are NOT ALLOWED in the venue. Only water and sports drinks may be brought inside the facilities. -In order to comply with the fire marshal, NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO BRING THEIR OWN CHAIRS INTO THE VENUES. No refunds after teams are accepted Trainers: There will be a trainer available to tape ankles and assist with minor injuries at each facility.
