Event Info - 2022 Tour of Texas Stop II 13 /TCS 13s-17s Stop II

Acceptance into the Tour and TCS is based on the finishes in the 2022 Tour of Texas Qualifiers. Any team that qualified for the Tour of Texas or Texas Championship Series will need to submit the entry fee and fulfill the stay to play policy prior to the deadlines below. Should a team not fulfill either requirement, they risk being dropped from the schedule. Please refer to the Tour of Texas website for more information.

LATE FEES

Late fees start at 12:01AM on the AES late registration date. Teams who register and/or pay after the registration deadline will incur an additional $50 fee.

STAY TO PLAY

This event is a stay to play tournament. Any team traveling further than 60 miles must secure a minimum number of 5 rooms through EM2 Housing. Rooms booked directly through hotels will not apply.

Reservations open after all teams have qualified on January 18, 2022 @ 8am CST. If you do not see enough rooms available for your team, or your preferred hotel is sold out, please contact EM2 Housing for assistance immediately. If you book rooms on your own with a hotel directly, or through an alternate housing website, your team will not qualify to participate in this stay to play tournament.

Teams will have to book rooms immediately; reservations close January 24, 2022 @ 11am CST.

Rosters submitted at the Tour of Texas Qualifiers will be considered frozen for the entirety of the Tour. Any changes to the roster will need to be approved by the Tour of Texas committee.

Teams can update their roster until the first day of the play. All teams are required to turn in a signed All teams must check-in online prior to their first match. There will be no on-site check-in and no paper copies will be accepted at the event. Roster changes cannot be made after confirming online check in. If a roster change is needed, email eventstaff@austinsportscenter.com to request a check in reset, and then complete the online check in process again.

To participate in any USAV sanctioned event, rosters must include: 

1. COACH – at least 1 coach; all coaches must have a cleared background screen, signed USAV Junior Club Personnel Code of Ethics, SafeSport certified, IMPACT certified
2. SCORER – can be “in-progress” by clinic attendance or pre-registration Scorer Chair
3. REFEREE – can be “in-progress” by clinic attendance or pre-registration with Referee Chair
4. MINIMUM of SIX (6) Registered ATHLETES
5. SAFE SPORT (if applicable)- athletes turning 18 during the season, whose teammates are minors, will be required to take "Core" Center for SafeSport training upon turning 18

The contact information signed on the roster should be a coach on-site at the tournament. This information is used to contact the team for emergency updates during the event.

HOW TO SATISFY REQUIREMENTS

• Background screen and signed Code of Ethics: complete in USAV membership portal.
• To become IMPACT and SafeSport certified: take the course under USAV Clinics in the USAV membership portal.
• To become a Scorer applicant: send application with anticipated clinic date and fee to appropriate region staff member.
• To become a Referee applicant: send application with anticipated clinic date and fee to appropriate region staff member.
